Spirit of Tasmania saga fallout continues as state government welcomes direct flight link to New Zealand

As Tasmania's government points to direct flights between Hobart and Auckland as a win for the local tourism sector, one caravan park operator says his park had a third of its usual late October visitors — and has fired a shot across the bow of the Spirit of Tasmania ferry operator.
