The newly renovated Mercantile Hotel & Bar, in Dublin's Dame Street, will re-open its doors to welcome guests in May.
The new revamped hotel features include 105 bedrooms, a restaurant with a menu curated by head chef Stephen Gibson, a bar and café.
Its new design is described as Georgian elegance meets contemporary Dublin.
The Mercantile has a heritage spanning 190 years and its conservation and redevelopment preserves its architectural heritage, including the refurbishment of the original façades, the restoration of its sash windows and removal of modern alterations to reveal the building's true Georgian character.
The reopening of the hotel will bring 80 new hospitality jobs in Dublin city centre.
David Murray, Managing Director of the Mercantile Group, said the hotel has been closed for renovations for the last five years.
"We have significantly increased the number of hotel bedrooms by 275%, in addition to adding a new rear extension and an additional floor, which will enhance our guests' experience. The reopening of the hotel creates 80 jobs for the hospitality sector, resulting in a boost to the local economy," Mr Murray said.
"Throughout the construction and refurbishment process it was very important to us that it held its unique Georgian and Dublin charm, while bringing a new modern feel and style that local and international guests will very much appreciate," he said.
"It will ensure that a well-loved landmark, which celebrates its 190 years this year, is preserved for generations to come," he added.
