Hollywood star Will Ferrell has been snapped wearing a Leeds United shirt.
An image of the star, known for his roles in movies such as Anchorman, Elf and Step Brothers, was spotted wearing the bright yellow away shirt at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, USA. The festival, which is running over two weekends in April, is an annual music and arts festival.
Last year, the comedian, 57, invested in Leeds United and now reportedly owns a significant share of the club. At the time there were claims he had poured a substantial amount into the cubsr US owners, 49ers Enterprises.
Leeds United's away jersey is currently on sale for £30. Described as being 'inspired by a golden era', it usually retails at £30 but is now on sale for £65 on the club's online shop. The description reads: "With a polo collar, yellow colours and a vintage badge, this adidas Leeds United FC jersey nods to the Yorkshire club's mid-'70s style.
"Made for competitive play and devoted support, it teams moisture-managing AEROREADY and soft double-knit fabric to keep you comfortable on your football journey. That standout woven crest shows you'll never stop supporting. "
Taking to social media, fans were quick to tease he may have bought the shirt while it's on sale. Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, @antlufc wrote: "Did he wait for it to go on sale?" While on Reddit DeargDoom79 wrote: "Saw that £30 deal and jumped at it I take it"
