The comic joined the latest episode of the hit BBC show and chatted with presenters Alex Jones and Vernon Kay about his fresh comedy venture, Last One Laughing.

Vernon then raised the topic of Jimmy's forthcoming arena tour, Laughs Funny, which is set to start next month.

With a touch of humour, Jimmy responded: "I'm always on tour, constantly. Playing the arenas just to big up my ego at the end of the year."

Discussion then shifted towards hecklers, prompted by Peter Kay's recent action of ejecting two disruptive audience members during his live show at the AO Arena in Manchester, reports the Mirror.

Peter was performing his Better Late Than Never (Again) tour when he was interrupted by an attendee loudly repeating the phrase "garlic bread" - a nod to one of Peter's well-known lines.

Another fan chimed in, proclaiming her love for Peter, adding to the disturbance.

Visibly bothered, Peter questioned the crowd about their feelings regarding the interruptions, leading to an overwhelming consensus. Security was soon ushering the troublesome attendees out, much to the relief of the rest.

Following reports of a recent incident at London's O2 Arena, Peter has vowed to remove more unruly fans from his show.

Meanwhile, on The One Show, Vernon mentioned to Jimmy: "I'm loving the fact that your heckles have gone viral on your socials. You put out the heckles and you do put out the interaction with the audience."

Earning laughs from the hosts, Jimmy quipped in response: "I quite like that. I like it when people join in. Sometimes it gets out of hand and we have to kick people out of the show, but I'm not like Peter Kay, I don't care."

He jokingly added: "I don't care, we've got great security. I'm all mouth."
