Top BlackRock BLK 0.87%increase; green up pointing triangle executive Mark Wiedman is leaving the world’s largest asset manager, according to people familiar with the matter. 

Wiedman was most recently head of BlackRock’s global client business and viewed as one of the top candidates to succeed longtime Chief Executive Larry Fink when he retires.
