Manchester United's transfer window continues to drag along with Ruben Amorim still waiting for a new player to be signed.

The Red Devils are grappling with Profit and Sustainability rules, meaning they ideally need to offload players before making any new acquisitions.

However, finding buyers for their surplus players is proving more challenging than anticipated. Alejandro Garnacho seems the most likely to depart, with Chelsea and Napoli showing interest in the Argentine.

Regarding potential arrivals, Patrick Dorgu's move appears almost certain. However, finalising the deal has been delayed, leaving United in a race against time to meet next week's deadline. Here's the latest transfer news from Old Trafford.

Manchester United's move for Dorgu has been delayed with the move now not expected until the weekend.

Dorgu has rapidly become United's primary target in their hunt for a left-back. He has shone for Serie A side Lecce and earned four caps for the Danish national team.

United have reached an agreement with Lecce for his signature, with only the final stages remaining. One of these stages is a medical, which has now been rescheduled for the weekend at the earliest. The transfer is still on course, but due to paperwork and contracts, Dorgu will not fly to England until the weekend.

Tel drops hint

Mathys Tel seems to have said his goodbyes to Bayern Munich, with United frontrunners to sign him. The 19-year-old has struggled for game time at the Bundesliga club and is now weighing up his options.

He did start in Bayern's victory over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday night but was substituted just after the hour mark. Following the match, he took a moment to wave to the fans and was seen applauding them.

He then gave his coat to a fan and spent time shaking hands and taking selfies. Tel has only started two Bundesliga games this season, making six appearances as a substitute, without scoring any goals.

Garancho exit

Alejandro Garnacho is edging closer to leaving Old Trafford this month. The winger has been strongly linked with a move to Napoli, while Chelsea are also reportedly interested.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A team are poised to make a 'decisive move' for the 20-year-old. United have reduced their asking price, sparking interest from Napoli, although they are encountering difficulties with Garnacho's wage demands.

The winger is reportedly asking for a salary of £3.7million per season, a significant increase on his current deal with United. Napoli are in discussions with Garnacho's representatives about this issue, but it appears they are running out of time.
